Maison de poissons

Irei,  Keiko

"Maison de poissons" is a series of photographes with items like clothes and furniture I use and myself decorated with food.  Those images are photographed all at my home.  Such behavior reminds me about feeling of actions that are prohibited by parents when I was a child.  Feeling of drawing on something I am not supposed to draw on, or feeling of crafting something with materials that I am not supposed to use, is the place I belong.   The bottom of the feeling is a pure desire that I want to see and want to do what I want.  The desire has been repeatedly rejected by grown ups and as you grow up, you even start to deny it until you forget it all.  "Home" is the one and only safe place that I can evoke my "pure desire" exists in myself.
